Coming Soon: New Registration System

We are excited to announce an update to the way students register for classes. The new Registration Landing Page, which will go live soon, provides an updated registration look and feel, as well as additional useful tools for students and advisors. The Office of the Registrar and ITS are excited to roll out the new functionality of this upgrade for campus use. We have a short video that demonstrates the new tool. 

While most of the changes will be fairly intuitive, some new features are worth pointing out.

• The Plan Ahead option allows students and their advisors to create plans before registration begins. Once registration opens, students can quickly pull up the plan to add classes from its list. 
• Search results when browsing for classes include clickable links for each class, showing Class Details (bookstore links, course descriptions, waitlist information, co- and pre-reqs, fees, etc.) and Instructor contact information. 
• The main registration page shows not just a search screen, but also the student’s weekly schedule, a summary of what they have already registered for, and the ability to register by CRN, or look up registration plans.

Other options, such as waitlisting, advanced search features, and variable credit courses, are still available with this upgrade, and will function as they have in the past. Students who have already registered for Fall 2022 do not need to do anything different. However, those who have not registered or who want to make changes to their schedule will want to become familiar with these new registration tools.
