Turnitin Service Update

ISU is excited to announce a new update as part of our Turnitin services. Our current Turnitin | Moodle ISU integration has been updated to LTI (Learning Tools Interoperability) version 1.3 which allows new features within the Turnitin Activity in Moodle ISU. 

  • Student roster synchronization - All students included in the Moodle course will populate the LTI assignment inbox with the addition of a resync button for any new student enrollments. 
  • Instructor Submitting on behalf of student - Instructors can directly submit student papers on behalf of the student directly in Moodle rather than going to Turnitin.com.
  • Updated Security - Provides security improvements. 

The Turnitin 1.1 will continue to work during the Spring 2023 semester, but will shortly be phased out. Faculty are encouraged to use Turnitin 1.3 in their courses.
