Text Scam Targets College Students

The University has been made aware of a scam targeting college students across the country.
The scam uses a text message that appears to be connected to a college, like Idaho State, and asks students to pay their fees using a link.
If a member of the campus community receives a text message requesting online fee payment, it is not connected to Idaho State. Recipients should not reply to the message or click links provided. Idaho State will never request credit card information over the phone or via text. All online payments are processed inside of BengalWeb or at the Cashier's Office.
