Notes from Academic Affairs

May 6, 2021

Hello from the Office of Academic Affairs!

We hope you enjoyed a well-deserved spring break.  We are all  looking forward to a restful and rejuvenating summer.  This past year has been trying, challenging and one that will certainly go down in history. That being said, we wanted to take a moment to say thank you!    You have gone above and beyond, each and every day, and we appreciate all you have done.  As a result of your commitment to our students, we have many successes to celebrate.

We have reconceptualized our teaching in new and innovative ways.  We have watched proudly as our students walked across the stage at graduation last week in Pocatello and look forward to this upcoming weekend when we will get to honor our graduating students in Meridian and Anchorage.  We have kept our campus community and culture strong, thriving, and well.  And, we have all perfected our Zoom skill sets!

While we can’t wait to see everyone back on campus in the fall, and get back to our “new normal,” what you have done over the past year has been nothing short of extraordinary.  Thank you for everything you do for our students, our colleagues, and for the future of ISU.

With Gratitude and Warm Regards,

The Office of Academic Affairs
