Employees and students to receive face covering

January 14, 2021

Your dedication and perseverance in following public health guidelines was crucial in our success in remaining open last semester. Together, we can continue to help protect our campuses, families, friends, and communities from the spread of COVID-19 while focusing on Idaho State’s mission. To support this effort, all employees will receive one new  ISU-branded cloth face covering for the spring semester. These are being distributed to all faculty and staff to department addresses through campus mail. If you are currently working remotely, please make arrangements with your department as necessary to pick it up after hours, or coordinate another delivery method.

If your face covering does not arrive at your campus address by Friday, Jan. 29, please request yours from Bengal Depot using the Bengal Depot COVID-19 Supplies and Signs Order Form, and provide your campus mailing information. Faculty and instructors who have requested a clear face covering for use during instruction, as face shields are no longer permitted, will be receiving these through a separate distribution process, in coordination with Academic Affairs.

The Division of Student Affairs will also be distributing cloth face coverings (one per person) to all students and student employees through a student distribution process. Students can bring their Bengal ID cards to receive a face covering at one of several university distribution points. Student Affairs will be communicating distribution information directly to students through Roar Weekly and social media. However, if you know of students or student employees in need of cloth face coverings, please advise them of this process, and refer them to the Dean of Students Office (deanofstudents@isu.edu or (208) 282-2794) for any questions.
