Alexa Barney Presents Her Graduate Research to an International Coalition of Researchers

Alexa Barney, graduate student in nutrition, is researching the impact of altitude on body mass index among cystic fibrosis patients. With her advisor, Assistant Professor Barbara Gordon, and pediatrician, Perry Brown, MD (St. Lukes, Boise), Alexa co-presented preliminary findings of her research at the Mountain West Cystic Fibrosis Coalition investigators’ meeting. Other presenters hailed from the Johns Hopkins Medical School and (from across the pond) the University of Oxford.
