Join Ceramics Students for Empty Bowl Fundraiser

November 4, 2021

Each year Idaho State University ceramics students and local artists collaborate with the Pocatello Arts Council and the Idaho Food bank for the Empty Bowls Charity Fundraiser event.

Local artists make and donate handmade bowls to raise awareness and funds to combat the threat of hunger here in Pocatello and southeast Idaho. All proceeds benefit the Idaho Food Bank and help fight hunger here in our own community where the need is greatest.

In an effort to make the event as accessible and safe as possible, this year’s Empty Bowls fundraiser will be held as an online auction Nov. 1-30.

Bowls are $20, with all proceeds benefiting the Idaho Food Bank. Purchased bowls may be picked up between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. Nov. 29 through Dec. 3 at the Idaho Food Bank located at: 555 s 1st Ave, Pocatello, ID.

Handmade pottery makes a great gift for the upcoming holidays, brings art into our daily lives and will provide much needed support in our own community
