Idaho State to Participate in Giving Tuesday

November 22, 2021

#GivingTuesday is an international day of giving fueled by the power of social media and a desire to make an impact. Giving Tuesday is celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving in conjunction with Black Friday and Cyber Monday as a way to kick off the season of giving. #GivingTuesday is a great way to participate in the philanthropic season and to focus on holiday and end-of-year giving.

The Bengal community can participate in #GivingTuesday by giving to areas students rely on most. #GivingTuesday priorities for Idaho State include:

  • Benny’s Pantry
  • Student Emergency Fund
  • Student Enrichment Fund
  • Meal-share Program

By donating to #GivingTuesday you are directly supporting Bengal students and helping them pursue their dreams.

In addition to using the #GivingTuesday on social media on November 30, Idaho State is creating challenges for students to participate in. The students that help to raise the most before and on #GivingTuesday can choose between a $250 donation to their student club or a pizza party and be the winner of the #GivingTuesday2021 trophy.

More information about how you can give to #GivingTuesday at isu.edu/givingtuesday.
