Counseling Department Chair Invited to Teach Masterclass on Counseling Supervision


 

David Kleist, chair for the Idaho State University Department of Counseling will teach a masterclass during the 3rd Annual Supervision Conference, hosted by the Psychotherapy Department in Dublin City University, Ireland, The event will be hosted virtually in September and brings together leading international and national experts in the field who will provide keynote speeches and masterclasses focused on the role of supervision in exploring, enlivening and enhancing practice.

Kleist works closely with ISU doctoral counseling students across the curriculum, advancing their supervision,  pedagogical, and research competencies. 

The conference will offer masterclasses, contemporary research papers and round table discussions on key supervisory issues. The conference schedule is designed to be of relevance to healthcare practitioners, including counsellors, psychotherapists, psychologists, social workers and nurses who are providing and receiving supervision and supervision consultation.
