Calling all Interested Artists
February 18, 2020
The Idaho Division of Vocational Rehabilitation is proposing a mural be completed celebrating our Century of Service since the program first began in Idaho in 1920.
Our Vision: An Idaho where all individuals with disabilities have the opportunity to participate in the workforce and employer value their contributions.
Our Mission: To prepare individuals with disabilities for employment and career opportunities while meeting the needs of the employers.
We are requesting interested parties to send in concept and bids for a mural to be completed in the Capital Mall tunnels in downtown Boise, Idaho.
Represents the vision, mission, and service of the vocational rehabilitation programs to the citizens of Idaho. The VR Program logos in the heading of this flyer should be either beside or incorporated into the mural.
Must not include commercial interests and must be politically neutral.
The work can be approximately 7 feet high and 12 feet wide, or less, and a least 4 inches above the floor and 4 inches below the ceiling.
The paint must be water based only. All paint and equipment must be stored when not in use and the floor must be protected while painting is in process.
The work becomes state property when completed.
Please submit a sample of the proposed work, along with the size. Include bid for completing the work. Please also include samples of previous work.
Please send submissions to the following address:
