Office of Equity and Inclusion welcomes new team members

The Office of Equity and Inclusion would like to welcome two new members to their team. 

Joanne (Lisa) Alexander-Santos is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Specialist. As the EO/AA Specialist, she will track and maintain ISU’s affirmative action data as well as assist search committees as they go through the hiring process. Alexander-Santos has a strong background in disability services and social work.

Abdul Khalil Azizi (Khalil) has also joined our team as the International Scholar Advisor and Multicultural Program Specialist. In this role, Azizi helps search committees understand the many issues surrounding international hires. As the Multicultural Programming Specialist, he also oversees the day to day operation of the Diversity Center and works to provide diversity and inclusion programming for ISU students and staff.
