Diversity Resource Center to Host National Hispanic Heritage Month Discussions

In celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month, the Diversity Resource Center hosts the following virtual events and programs from Monday, Oct. 5  to Friday, Oct. 9.

  •  Latin American Beauty, Traditions, and Culture:  Monday, Oct.5, noon
  • Four ISU Hispanic Alum and Undergraduate Student Stories: Who are we, and what are we proud of?:  Tuesday, Oct. 6, 11 a.m. 
  • HALO club members: Traditional Hispanic and Latin Celebration: Tuesday, Oct. 6, 3 p.m.
  • Breaking the Traditional Mold: The Dichotomy of Merging Cultures:Wednesday, Oct. 7, noon
  • Hispanic Women and Politics: The historical remarks and contributions of Hispanic women in the United States:  Thursday, Oct. 8, noon
  • From Fields to College - A Migrant Journey:  Thursday, Oct. 8, 3 p.m. 
  • Outlook on Diversity within the Veterans:   Friday, Oct.9, 9 a.m.
