Counseling and Testing to offer suicide prevention workshop

August 27, 2020

Counseling and Testing Service will be hosting a variety of workshops to help bring awareness in September for Suicide Prevention month. In place of QPR, we have upgraded to a program sponsored by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, or AFSP, called "Talk Saves Lives". We will be offering one TSL workshop per week. We will also be offering a unique workshop for those who have experienced the loss of someone to suicide titled, "Coping with Suicide Loss". In addition to these suicide prevention specific topics, we will again be offering our RESPOND training, which covers suicide prevention as well as general mental health awareness.

All of these workshops will be online, and staff are encouraged to register through the links located on our website.
