You're Invited to President Satterlee's Investiture

In three weeks, our campus community will come together for the inauguration of President Kevin Satterlee. A number of inaugural events are scheduled for faculty, staff, students, alumni, and community partners to celebrate Idaho State University. The weeklong events will culminate in an investiture ceremony on Friday, April 26, at 10 a.m.

 

During President Satterlee's investiture, the authority and symbols of the high office will be conferred. Since the Middle Ages, investiture ceremonies have been an academic tradition symbolizing the pursuit of knowledge. President Satterlee's investiture will be an opportunity for Idaho State to welcome and celebrate a new era of leadership.

 

Members of our campus community wishing to attend the investiture must request tickets online. If you would like to attend and haven't already requested tickets, please complete the online request form as soon as possible. Seating in the venue is limited, and priority seating in Jensen Hall will be given on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

The investiture ceremony will be streamed live online to our campus locations in Idaho Falls, Meridian, and Twin Falls. Receptions have also been planned at each campus location to celebrate the investiture.
