Pay parking citations with Food For Fines program

October 24, 2019

Do you have parking citations? Between Oct. 28 and Nov. 8, ISU Parking and Benny’s Pantry are partnering to allow you to pay your fines with food and toiletries for Bengals in need.

To participate in the Food For Fines program, simply stop by the ISU Parking office and pick up a Bingo card with lists of needed items. Earn a “Bingo” by bringing items from the list to the Parking office on any campus between Oct. 28 and Nov. 8 to receive a waiver for citations.

Only citations $35 or less are eligible, and only up to two citations can be paid this way. To be able to receive the discount, all remaining citations must be paid at the time of donation. Anyone who has been towed or booted is ineligible. The following citations will also not be eligible:

  • Fire Lane
  • Disabled
  • Yellow Curb
  • Grass/Sidewalk
  • Altered/Forged
  • Use of Lost/Stolen Permit
