Mental Health of Students Training for Faculty/Staff - Meridian

November 4, 2019

Counseling and Testing Service is excited to offer the RESPOND training again this fall semester in Meridian. As you have likely heard, students across the country are increasingly reporting high degrees of mental health concerns. The RESPOND training is an in-depth workshop designed to help faculty and staff feel more comfortable and better prepared to respond to students who are experiencing emotional distress by offering support but also knowing when to refer to a professional counselor. We welcome and encourage faculty and staff to take part in this workshop. While it is a significant commitment of your time, the workshop is interactive and allows ample time for questions and discussion. Attendance is limited to 25 participants.

Upcoming Training Date for ISU Meridian:
Friday, Nove. 15, 2019
8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m .(with a 50-minute break for lunch)
Location: Classroom 682, 1st Floor

Please RSVP to Soni Myers (myersoni@isu.edu or x1723).
