ISU Safe Space Training

Idaho State University is offering ISU Safe Space training Oct. 11 from 9 a.m. to noon on the seventh floor of Garrison Hall.

Idaho State University’s Safe Space program fosters an inclusive environment that challenges oppression and provides support for LGBTQ+ students by developing an ally network and creating welcoming physical spaces for the ISU LGBTQ+ communities.

 

To attend Safe Space training sessions, you should:

  • Endorse being an ally for LGBTQ+ communities
  • Welcome and encourage differences between persons
  • Come to the training with a spirit of openness
