Celebrate National First-Generation College Student Day Nov. 8

On Friday, Nov. 8, TRIO Access and Opportunity Programs will celebrate the success stories of ISU first-generation faculty, staff, alumni and students during National First-Generation College Student Day in the Pond Student Union Lounge from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Activities planned include:
• 11 a.m. - 1 p.m., hot cocoa bar
• 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., panel discussion
• 12:30 - 1:30 p.m., cake and networking.
Earlier in the week, TRIO hosted information tables in the Pond Student Union and the Rendezvous Complex where people could share their first-generation story.
