ISU Hispanic Awareness Leadership Organization to host Noche Latina: A Red Carpet Event on Feb. 4

POCATELLO – Idaho State University’s Hispanic Awareness Leadership Organization (HALO) will host Noche Latina: A Red Carpet Event on Feb. 4 at 6 p.m. at the Pond Student Union Ballroom.

The event will highlight and represent various countries of Latin America. It will focus on different forms of entertainment in Latin America, including art, poetry, dancing, music and literature.

This year, entertainment will include dancers who will perform dances from Ecuador, Bolivia, Paraguay, Dominican Republic and Mexico.

Students will also perform a poem in the traditional Aztec language in addition to song and dance.

Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. and will feature cuisine that highlights different areas of Latin America.

Ticket prices are $5 for ISU students, $6 for faculty, and $7 for the public. Tickets will be available at the door for no additional charge.
