POCATELLO – The Pocatello Branch of the American Association of University Women will hold its annual used book sale in Idaho State University’s Reed Gymnasium West Foyer on Sept. 7 from 5 to 8 p.m., Sept. 8 from noon to 7 p.m. and Sept. 9 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Parking is free on campus after 4 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and all day on Saturday. Pay-station parking is available in the lots behind Reed Gym and next to the Pond Student Union.
There will be a large supply of fiction and non-fiction books, but those interested in getting first choice should attend on Sept. 7. With the exception of antique or rare books, book prices will be $2 for paperbacks and $3 for hardbacks. Proceeds support local AAUW-sponsored educational workshops for women entering the workforce. Donations for the sale are not currently being accepted.
The AAUW mission is to advance equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy and research. Membership is open to anyone holding an associate or equivalent, baccalaureate or higher degree from a regionally accredited college or university. Idaho State University is an institutional partner of the Pocatello Branch and students enrolled at ISU are eligible to receive a free E-Student Affiliate membership.
