Camerata Singers to present fall concert Nov. 18

November 9, 2016

POCATELLO – The Camerata Singers will present a fall concert on Friday, Nov. 18, at 7:30 p.m. in Jensen Grand Concert Hall.

Tickets are $8 for adults, $6 for ISU faculty/staff, and $4 for pre-college students aged 6-18.  ISU students with a valid ID are offered free entry.  Tickets may be purchased through a member of the choir or at the door on the evening of the performance.

The concert will be a stand-alone event for Camerata, who typically sings with the Idaho-State Civic Symphony.  The choir will perform pieces ranging from Franz Schubert’s “Mass No. 2 in G Major” to Aaron Copland’s “The Promise of Living” from “The Tender Land.”  Several choir members will be featured as soloists.

The Camerata Singers have been providing high-caliber music to the community since 1968. The choir also tours nationally and internationally, most recently at New York City’s famed Carnegie Hall.  The group is currently under the direction of Scott Anderson, ISU director of choral activities, and accompanied by Adonna Drake.

More information about the group can be found at www.cameratasingers.us, by emailing cameratasingers.us@gmail.com, or at the “Camerata Singers Idaho” Facebook page.
