Martin Luther King, Jr. Way on the Idaho State University campus will be closed beginning May 18 through mid-July because of a construction project.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Way will be closed to vehicular traffic between Cesar Chavez Avenue and Memorial Drive. There will be a detour route established using East Carter Street.

ISU is starting this construction project to repair the steam utility tunnel that runs underneath Martin Luther King, Jr. Way. The project will replace the structural elements of the tunnel as well as the steam and condensate lines that run through the tunnel.
