Gender wage issue is focus of AAUW Meeting April 11 in Pocatello

On Saturday, April 11, the American Association of University Women Pocatello branch will hold a meeting focusing on the gender gap wage issue from noon until 2 p.m. at Café Tuscano, located at 2231 E. Center Street.

The meeting will acknowledge Equal Pay Day, which occurs on April 14.

All members and other interested people are invited to attend this no-host luncheon in the restaurant’s private meeting room.

The AAUW mission is to advance equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy and research. Membership is open to anyone holding an associate or equivalent, baccalaureate or higher degree from a regionally accredited college or university.

New members may join for half price at the meeting. Idaho State University is an institutional partner of the Pocatello branch and students enrolled at ISU are eligible to receive a free e-Student Affiliate membership.
