ISU Symphonic Band, Chamber Orchestra and Women’s Choir to perform concert at the Stephens Center Nov. 18

POCATELLO – Idaho State University’s Symphonic Band, Chamber Orchestra, and Women’s Choir will be share the stage in Jensen Grand Concert Hall, at the Stephens Performing Arts Center, Nov. 18 at 7:30 p.m.

The ISU Women’s Choir will be perform the winter section of “Folk Songs of the Four Seasons” by Vaughan Williams. This performance with the ISU Chamber Orchestra marks the first orchestral collaboration for the Women’s Choir. The four historical English songs, celebrate the holiday season.

The Symphonic Band, under the direction of Patrick Brooks, will perform “Variations on a Korean Folk Song” and “Incantation and Dance” by John Barnes and “Chance, Lux Arumque” by Eric Whitacre, and the exciting “Danzon no. 2” by composer Arturo Marquez.

Tickets are available at the Stephens Center Box Office at 282-3595. They are $8 for adults, $6 for ISU faculty and staff, $4 for precollege students and free to ISU students.
