POCATELLO – The 34th annual Idaho State University Cooperative Wilderness Handicapped Outdoor Group (CW HOG) Pig Out, a dinner and fundraiser for CW HOG, will be held 3-10 p.m. Sept. 19 in Lower Ross Park Pavilion in Pocatello.

The dinner includes grilled pork chops, Idaho baked potatoes, corn on the cob, cold beverages and the HOGs’ specialty, a vegetarian Dutch-oven dish. Dinner is from 4 to 7:30 p.m. There will be kid’s activities and live music from the Maw Band.

Admission is $10 in advance and $12 at the door for those 12 and older. For children 6-11 admission is $5 in advance, $6 at the door. Children ages 5 and under eat free. Advance tickets are on sale at Barrie’s Ski and Sports and the Outdoor Adventure Center in the lower level of the Pond Student Union at ISU.

Proceeds benefit ISU’s CW HOG program by providing staffing, training for staff and volunteers, equipment, and financial aid to participants who would otherwise be unable to get the experiences that CW HOG has to offer. The confidence, self-esteem, and lifelong memories that come along with challenging oneself with outdoor adventures are immeasurable and CW HOG is committed to assisting with these challenges.

This event is sponsored by Mountain View Charity and many other local businesses.

For more information on the Pig Out, call the CW HOG Office at (208) 282-3912 and visit www.isu.edu/cwhog.
