POCATELLO – Idaho State University’s Faculty Showcase of Scholarly and Creative Works will be held on Nov. 12 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Wood River Room, Pond Student Union.

The event is a reception and recognition program for ISU authors and creators of works published or performed in 2014.

This event is sponsored by ISU Library, Office for Research and friends of Oboler Library.
The program will include recognition of these authors, creators and remarks from Jennifer Attebery, 2015 Outstanding Researcher and Colden Baxter, Distinguished Researcher. Additionally, the program will include a performance by Keum Hwa Cha, assistant professor, violin and concertmaster.

There will be a large display of all books, book chapters, journal articles and selections of creative works by ISU’s accomplished faculty. The University has earned a research-high Carnegie designation, and this event acknowledges those faculty responsible for ISU’s research success. It will celebrate the diversity and success of ISU’s faculty and should be of interest to ISU researchers and creative artists.
