“Our department’s mission focuses on creativity and innovation,” said James DiSanza, CMP department chair. “Our goal is to help students discover and maximize their own creative potential and take that into their careers and lives. The talent and creativity that these students displayed was evident in their work and in the excitement displayed by the folks from the Simplot Games.”

This is the fifth year a student from ISU’s CMP department won the competition. The winning poster, and all competition submissions, were created as part of Professor Paula Jull’s “Advanced Issues in Design and Illustration” classes.

The 2015 Simplot Games will take place Feb. 19-21 at ISU’s Holt Arena. The annual track and field event hosts high school competitors from the United States, Canada, Mexico and Australia.
