All are invited to celebrate 33 years of outdoor adventure at the annual CW HOG Pig-Out dinner and picnic Saturday, Sept. 13, from 4 to 10 p.m. at Lower Ross Park Pavilion in Pocatello.

Proceeds from the event benefit Idaho State University’s CW HOG (Cooperative Wilderness Handicapped Outdoor Group), a program designed to provide both able-bodied participants and participants with disabilities outdoor recreation experiences.

Dinner includes grilled pork chops, baked potatoes, corn on the cob, a Dutch oven vegetarian dish and cold beverages. There will be kids activities and live music from The Sherman Brothers and the Maw Band.

Advance tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 6 and older. Tickets at the park are $12 for adults and $7 for children ages 6 and older.

The picnic is sponsored by local businesses and Mountain View Hospital, who recently made a $10,000 donation to the program.

Proceeds from the picnic provide staffing for the program, volunteer training, equipment and financial aid to participants who would otherwise not be able to participate.
