Idaho State University to host CEDA National Debate Tournament March 22-26

Idaho State University will host the 2013 Cross Examination Debate Association National Championship Tournament March 22-26.

There will be more than 150 college and university teams represented by more than 650 students, coaches, and judges from around the United States coming to the Portneuf Valley.

This will be the first time visiting Idaho for most of the students, coaches and judges who are planning to attend the 2013 CEDA National Championship Tournament. This is a quintessential opportunity to create an image of Idaho and Pocatello as a place to which they'd be delighted to return.

Sarah Partlow-LeFevre, the director of the James M. and Sharon E. Rupp Debate Society, formulated an internship opportunity. The tournament will be the culmination of the efforts of 26 students from a broad spectrum of educational goals working together to assist her in accomplishing this event.
