ISU Marketing and Communications

Idaho State University's International Student Association will host International Night on Saturday, Sept. 28. The event will be from 6 to 9 p.m. in the Pond Student Union Ballroom.

Entertainment will feature a performance on a Chinese lute, called a pipa, singing and dancing.

Students are invited to donate props and decorations from their home countries for the ISA to display during International Night. The group hopes to have all decorations collected by Sept. 27 in order to have time to set up all displays. Each set of decorations will be labeled with the lender's name and home country.

Event sponsors will be giving away gift certificates during a raffle and games. Sponsors include: Great Wall, Kiwi Loco, Chili's, Marhaba, Kowloon Express, Textbook Exchange and Mandarin House.

Each ticket will have a $2 off coupon for Kowloon Express printed on it.

Admission is $7 for students, $8 for faculty and staff and $9 for the public if purchased prior to the event. Tickets purchased at the door will cost $1 more.

Tickets are sold from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. on weekdays through Sept. 28 at the International Night tables in the Rendezvous Complex and Pond Student Union. Tickets can also be purchased by calling 208-282-2941.

Discounted tickets are available for volunteers. Those who volunteer for five hours will receive half-priced tickets, and anyone who volunteers for eight hours will get free admission to International Night. To sign up to volunteer, visit http://www.isu.edu/ipo/isa/volunteering.shtml.
