Teresa Borrenpohl is new Idaho State University Alumni Relations assistant director

The Idaho State University Office of Alumni Relations has hired Teresa Borrenpohl as its new assistant director, announced KC Felt, ISU alumni director. She began her new assignment on Aug. 20. Teresa Borrenpohl

Borrenpohl comes from Great Bend, Kan. She attended Montana State University. Borrenpohl served as Student Body President while completing her Bachelors of Science degree in economics. She then served on the Board of Regents of Higher Education for the state of Montana. During this time, she earned her Master of Science degree in public administration.

She lives in Pocatello with her husband, Craig. Together they enjoy mountain biking, skiing and running. Prior to accepting a position with the Office of Alumni Relations, Teresa served as the Scholarship Coordinator at the Eastern Idaho Technical College Foundation in Idaho Falls.

In her new position, Borrenpohl will be responsible for the development and coordination of the annual I Love ISU scholarship campaign. She will work with area alumni and community members to expand and grow the campaign into other areas of Idaho. She will also work with the director to increase alumni outreach for all colleges of ISU and develop new opportunities for engaging ISU alumni.

Borrenpohl will also develop alumni groups and chapters in areas where there are substantial numbers of ISU alumni. She will lead alumni efforts in making connections through ISU athletics with events and tailgate activities. New programs will also be part of her position in establishing and coordinating a new ISU Student Alumni Group, an enhanced mentoring program and an alumni membership program.
