Idaho State University Indian Night 2012 slated Oct. 20 in Pond Student Union Ballroom

The Idaho State University Association of Indian Students will host Indian Night on Saturday, Oct. 20, from 6 to 9 p.m. in the ISU Pond Student Union Ballroom.

The event will feature authentic Indian food, including jeera rice, butter chicken, sambnar (a lentil-based dish from southern India), matter paneer (a north Indian curry made with peas and cottage cheese), tomato chutney, Indian baked potatoes and mango lassi. It will also feature a variety of events highlighting Indian culture, including several dances and a short skit.

Tickets purchased in advance are $6 for students, $7 for faculty and staff and $9 for the general public. Tickets will be one dollar more at the door. Tickets may be purchased at the Pond Student Union and Rendezvous Complex Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to  5 fp.m.
