The Idaho State University Office of Marketing and Communications distributes this event calendar to let the public and media know about upcoming non-athletic events at the University. Friday, December 7

            ISU Civic Symphony "Joy to the World": The Idaho State-Civic Symphony, Idaho State University Choirs, the ISU Bands and the Camerata Singers will combine to present the first ISU Department of Music and community holiday music performance "Joy to the World: An ISU Christmas," on Dec. 7 and 8 from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m., at the Stephens Performing Art Center in the Jensen Grand Concert Hall.  Saturday, December 8

            ISU Annual Santa Claws 5K Fun Run and Fitness Fair: Idaho State University Department of Sport Science and Physical Education will host the fourth annual Santa Claws 5k Fun Run and Fitness Fair on Dec. 8 at Reed Gym from 8:30 a.m. to noon. Festivities kick off with the Fitness Fair for one hour starting at 8:30 a.m., followed by the Kids 1k at 9:30 and finishing with the Adult 5k at 10:30 a.m. Register at www.active.com, keyword: Santa Claws 5k. Event fees are $10 per child to enter the Kids 1k and $20 per adult for the Adult 5k.           • ISU 'A Season of Note' to Present Kurt Bestor Christmas: The duo will perform at 7:30 p.m. in the Jensen Grand Concert Hall in the Stephens Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $38 and $34.          ISU ‘A Season of Note’ to Present Imago Theatre – ZooZoo: The series of short acts involving animals or other creatures with gorgeous masks will perform at 7:30 p.m. in the Jensen Grand Concert Hall in the Stephens Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $28 and $24 or $16 and $12 for children 4-12.
