"Human Interactions with the Portneuf River," a public forum featuring a discussion of how humans have interacted with the Portneuf River in the past and the present, will be held at 5 p.m. Dec. 5 at the Portneuf Valley Brewery in Pocatello.

This joint ISU Sigma XI Science Cafe and ISU Humanities Cafe will be held in the loft at the brewery.

The Science Cafe and the Humanities Cafe are monthly public forums designed to engage discussion about science- and humanities-related issues.

This event is provided with generous support from the ISU Humanities Café and the City of Pocatello Stormwater Department.

The public is invited to join in the event’s food, drink and discussion.
