ISU Coming Events: June 27-July 22

The Idaho State University Office of Marketing and Communications distributes this event calendar to let the public and media know about upcoming non-athletic events at the University. This information is intended for release in print and broadcast events calendars. Various events calendars with more complete information are available online at the website www.isu.edu/calendar. Thursday, June 30

·      Concert on the Quad: Blind Autumn will perform at 6 p.m. on the ISU Hutchinson Quadrangle followed by Cary Judd at 7 p.m. There will also be a BBQ that is free for ISU students and $3 for the general public. Everyone is encouraged to bring canned or non-perishable items to the concert and exchange them for promotional gear. ·      Concert on the Quad: Nyr Life will perform at 6 p.m. on the ISU quad followed by Caleb Hawley at 7 p.m. There will also be a BBQ that is free for ISU students and $3 for the general public. Everyone is encouraged to bring canned or non-perishable items to the concert and exchange them for promotional gear. Saturday, July 9

·      ISU Alumni Presents Steve Eaton in Concert: Steve Eaton will perform at the Idaho Botanical Garden in Boise at 6 p.m. Admission is $15 a person or $10 a person with two cans of food to be donated to the Boise area Idaho Food Bank. All ISU alumni, friends and community members are invited. Bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on and enjoy food and beverages from local vendors. This event will include wine tasting. Monday, July 11-16

·      CW HOG Kid’s Camp: Kid’s Camp consists of a week, July 11 – 16 of day long camps culminating with an overnight campout and a rafting trip down the Alpine stretch of the Snake River. Space is limited and children ages 7-14 of all ability levels are welcome. Children will have the opportunity to experience the outdoors by participating in activities such as: horseback riding, water-skiing, whitewater rafting, rock climbing, sea kayaking, and scuba diving. Each day begins at 9:00 am on the Idaho State University campus. The cost is $250 per week per child. ·      10th Annual Tom Sherwood Memorial Golf Tournament: The ISU Foundation in cooperation with North Wind Group is proud to announce the 10th Annual Tom Sherwood Memorial Golf Tournament at Sage Lakes Golf Course in Idaho Falls from 7:30 a.m.-2 p.m. All donations will go to the Tom Sherwood Memorial Scholarship Endowment at ISU to benefit geology, biology, and environmental engineering students. Registration begins at 6:30 a.m. and cost is $35 per person plus green fees ($20.50 payable to the golf course on the day of the event). Registration includes lunch and a gift bag for each player.
