Sandee Moore, Chief Operations Office for Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center and Idaho State University alumna, has been appointed to the Council of Regents, the legislative body of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

ACHE is an international professional society of more than 35,000 healthcare executives who lead hospitals, healthcare systems and other healthcare organizations.

As a member of The Council of Regents, Moore represents Idaho healthcare organizations and their interests with the national ACHE organization.  She was elected by her professional peers in the state.

Moore will take office at the Council of Regents meeting March 17, 2012, during ACHE's 55th Congress on Healthcare Leadership at the Hyatt Regency Chicago. As a Regent, Moore will represent ACHE’s membership in Idaho.

Moore has served as COO at EIRMC since 2010.  Prior to this position, she was Associate Administrator at Sunrise Medical Center, a 700-bed hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Born and raised in Caldwell, Idaho, Sandee earned her Bachelor’s degree in 2003 from Idaho State University, where she previously served on the Alumni Board.  She later earned her master's degree from the University of Colorado, and was named the University’s “Outstanding MBA Student” and winner of the "Health Programs Director’s Award."
