The Pocatello Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) will host its annual book sale in the Reed Gymnasium West Foyer on Friday, Oct. 14, 1-7:30 p.m., and Saturday, Oct. 15, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

Parking is free on campus after 4 p.m. Friday and on Saturday. Some metered parking is available in the parking lot off of MLK Jr. Way and on Red Hill Road.

Proceeds support AAUW educational projects.

This is the last week to donate books. Donations may be left in the large box in the entryway to the ISU Continuing Education Building located at 1001 N. 7th Street.

In addition to the usual supply of fiction and non-fiction books, this year there is a collection of old ISU Wiki-up annuals. With the exception of specialized sets or antique books, AAUW sells the books for $1 for paperbacks and $2 for hardbound.

Founded in 1882, the American Association of University Women promotes equity for all women and girls, lifelong education, and positive societal change. The Pocatello Branch was founded in 1919 and granted its first scholarship in 1925. The first book sale fundraiser was held in the 1960s.

The local chapter also welcomes new members.
