Electro-magnetism is the topic of ISU Saturday Science on April 10

The Idaho State University Department of Physics and the Idaho Museum of Natural History will host a Saturday Science presentation from 1 to 2:30 p.m. April 10.

The presentation is designed for children in the third through the fifth grades. The interactive presentation will explore the use of magnets, electro-magnetism and their relationships with electricity in everyday life. There will also be demonstrations on the laws of motion. The event will be held in the Idaho Museum of Natural History.

Idaho State University physics students Claire Chow and Tobin Giraud will conduct the hands-on experiments.

Registration for the presentation is $20.  Register in person at the Idaho Museum of Natural History or by mail through April 8. To register by mail, download an application from “Science Saturday” at http://imnh.isu.edu.
