ISU Marketing and Communications

“The Wolf Delisted” panel discussion will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 23, in the Idaho State University Pond Student Union Salmon River Suite.

The panel is sponsored by the Student Action Volunteers for the Environment (SAVE), a program of the ISU Students’ Community Service Center.

Panelists include:

• Ralph Maughan, president of the Wolf Recovery Foundation;

• Toby Boudreau, regional wildlife manager for the Idaho Department of Fish and Game’s Southeast Region;

• Jennifer Ellis, spokesperson for and past president of the Idaho Cattle Association; and

• Mike Jimenez, project leader for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s wolf recovery project in Wyoming.

A fifth panelist may join this group.

Each panelist will speak for approximately 10 minutes and give an overview of his or her agency’s or organization’s approach to wolf management. SAVE representatives will present one question to two of the panelists, and another question to the other two panelists. These will be questions formulated by the students.  Panelists will have two minutes to respond to each question. After that, the panel will be open to take questions from the audience.
