On Sunday, March 8, the telemark festival will start at 7:30 a.m. by testing participants’ backcountry skills and endurance by having them hike more than 1,000 feet with two vertical descents in the Rondo Rally. The classic telemark terrain race will follow at 1 p.m. The race will be followed by an awards ceremony and prize drawings. The cost is $25 for one event with an additional $5 charge for the second event.
