A Student Parent Resource Fair to raise awareness about resources available to student parents will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 22 at the Idaho State University Pond Student Union Ballroom.

It is sponsored by the ISU Baby U Club and the Janet C. Anderson Gender Resource Center.

All students, faculty, staff and community members are welcome. This event will feature booths and information from ISU resources and many community organizations and businesses.  Free childcare and children’s activities will be available. There also will be a free raffle for door prizes supplied by the exhibitors.

The Baby U Club is an ISU student club dedicated to raising awareness about the challenges that student parents face as they balance demands between school and family. It is committed to helping student parents connect with resources that will allow them to finish their educations and who are working on securing more resources to further benefit those students.  The Baby U Club is open to parents with children of all ages.

Participants in the fair include Costco, ISU Credit Union, Pocatello Women’s Health Clinic, the ISU Early Childhood Partnership School, Girl Scouts of Silver Sage Council, J Hofman Photography, Jelliebeane Jungle Preschool and Childcare, Small Talk Preschool, the Odyssey Learning Center, the Pocatello Children’s Clinic and many more.
