In recognition of International Museum Day, the Idaho Museum of Natural History will offer $1 admission to everyone who visits the museum on Saturday, May 16. As always, Museum Members and children under 4 will receive free admission that day.

International Museum Day is coordinated by the International Council of Museums (ICOM) and has been celebrated all over the world since 1977. ICOM encourages that the celebration take place each year on or around May 18 with the mission of helping to spread the word that museums are an important means of cultural exchange, enrichment of cultures and development of mutual understanding, co-operation and peace among peoples.

For more information, visit http://imnh.isu.edu or contact the Museum at (208) 282-3317 or imnh@isu.edu. IMNH is located on the campus of Idaho State University at the intersection of 5th Avenue and Dillon Street in Building #12. The gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
