The Idaho State University Department of Physics and the Idaho Museum of Natural History will hold a Saturday Science class covering the science of Halloween on Saturday, Oct. 10, for children in third through fifth grade.

In this Saturday Science experience, participants will learn how physics can make a candle appear to be burning under water, how they can walk away from their shadows, and how to separate their head from their body. This class is the first in a series of Saturday School classes held throughout the school year.

Registration will be taken in person or by mail, in the order of payment received. No verbal reservations will be accepted. The cost is $20 per student for each Saturday School session. Refunds are available only if the Museum cancels a class.
