ISU Indian Night set Oct. 17 in Pond Student Union Ballroom

The Idaho State University Association of Indian Students will host Indian Night on Saturday, Oct. 17, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. in the ISU Pond Student Union Ballroom.

The theme of this year’s event is “Showcasing the Festivals of India,” and will feature authentic Indian food, and a variety of events highlighting Indian culture.

This year’s Indian Night falls within the Diwali Festival of Lights, a Hindu holiday that celebrates the victory of good over evil.

Tickets purchased in advance are $6 for students, $8 for faculty and staff and $9 for the general public. Tickets will be one dollar more at the door. Tickets may be purchased at the Pond Student Union Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
