Author of ‘Grizzly Wars’ David Knibb to speak at ISU

David Knibb, author of  “Grizzly Wars: The Public Fight Over the Great Bear,” will speak at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25, in the Idaho State University Pond Student Union, Salmon River Suite.

The free talk is open to the public.

A resident of the Seattle area, Knibb has a background in environmental law, forestry and wildlife management. An activist on resource conservation and environment issues in the Mountain West for some 45 years, he is also the author of “Backyard Wilderness,” a chronicle of the congressional battle over the Alpine Lakes Wilderness in Washington’s Cascades.
