‘Sound and Waves’ science demo show at ISU April 26

Idaho State University Department of Physics and the Society of Physics students invite the southeast Idaho community to a Science Demonstration Show on Saturday, April 26, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in Room 140 of the ISU Physical Science Building on the corner of Eighth Avenue and Carter Street, in Pocatello.

“Sound and Waves” is the title of the show, which will feature the “Singing Rods,” the “Breaking a Wine Glass with Sound,” the “Flaming Wave Tube” and other demonstrations. Show up early for hovercraft rides and a candy shoot in the Physical Science Building foyer. This and other science demo shows are presented at local K-12 schools upon invitation. This event is free to the public.
