New Bengal Dance squad announced

Idaho State University Bengal Dancers squad members were recently named at auditions. The 16-member team is comprised of 10 returning dancers and six new members including four incoming freshmen.

Earlier this year, ISU’s Bengal Dancers brought home a new title when they were named the 2008 USA Large Open Dance National Champions.

The new squad consists of Lacey Duffin, Aberdeen; Jacquelyn Kupferer, Alta Loma, Calif.; Sara Neibaur and Britney Udy, American Falls; Tiffany Hatley, Arimo; Chelsea Kamiska, Brigham, Utah; Kelsi Goodfellow, Burley; Ashton PeCoy and Stephanie Elkin, Corona, Calif.; Kasja Watt, Blackfoot; Randi Sundquist, Elko, Nevada; Britney Giovanini, Idaho Falls; Savana Schiess, Kayla Campbell, Brittney Owen and Chelsie Ayre, Pocatello.

The Bengal Dancers are coached by Hilary Hofmaier and assisted by Lindsay Tucker.  The team will be reporting back in mid July for camp.
