Join the Idaho State University art galleries, including the Idaho Museum of Natural History, for their next Gallery Walk on Monday, Oct. 6, from 7 to 9 p.m.

The Gallery Walks are free and open to the public and will continue on the first Monday of each month through April.October’s Gallery Walk will feature an opening reception at the Transition Gallery in the Student Union. The Transition and Mind's Eye Galleries will also feature the Annual Homecoming Alumni Art Show. The Oboler Library has two separate exhibits, Booker's Dozen and “Life as Art” Portraits by Sheriff Photography. “Where We Are” by Bryan Park will be shown in the John B. Davis Gallery.

IMNH will open a new monthly exhibit featuring prehistoric stone tools excavated by ISU archaeologists at Castle Rock State Park. Archaeological excavations revealed prehistoric deposits that indicate one of the earliest sites of human occupation in Idaho. Artifacts on display will be examples of early Paleoindian toolstone quarried from quartzite and quartz crystal formations at the site.
