Museum Fun Family Free Day set May 19

 The Idaho Museum of Natural History and Fort Hall Casino will co-sponsor a free family day at IMNH from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 19 as part of the newly instated Pocatello Museums Week, declared by Pocatello Mayor Roger Chase.

Currently, the museum is displaying exhibits such as the Shoshone-Bannock Women’s Bead Work, Big Foot, Dinosaur Times in Idaho and the Pleistocene Mammals in Idaho.

Shoshone-Bannock Tribe’s members will demonstrate traditional beading and animal hide preparation techniques from 1 to 2 p.m.
