The Idaho State University Leadership Symposium will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a special performance by the nation’s 16th President, Abraham Lincoln, at 7 p.m. March 22 in Goranson Hall, located on the lower level of the ISU Fine Arts Building.
The public is invited to attend the free, one-act play “An Evening with Lincoln” where Dr. Gene Griessman portrays President Lincoln. With original music playing in the background, Griessman will deliver Lincoln's jokes, present some of his great speeches, and communicate “powerful lessons about success” from the 16th president.
Griessman has performed this work throughout the country, including venues such as Ford's Theatre, the Georgia Dome, the Lincoln Memorial, and the Ice Palace.
Audience members are welcome to bring cameras and have their picture taken with President Lincoln after the performance.
For more information on this performance please contact Heidi Oliver at olivheid@isu.edu or 282-3154.
